Beneficiaries
Unmarried girls aged 13–18 (K1) and 18–19 (K2) years pursuing education.

Benefits

  • K1: Annual scholarship of ₹1,000 for unmarried girls in Class VIII–XII aged 13–18.
  • K2: One-time grant of ₹25,000 on turning 18 if still unmarried and enrolled in studies.
  • K3: Monthly scholarship for girls pursuing post-graduation in specific subjects.

Eligibility

  • Girl child studying in Class VIII to Post-Graduation.
  • Family income up to ₹1,20,000 per year (relaxed for special categories).
  • Unmarried at the time of application.

Required Documents

  • Birth certificate / Age proof
  • Aadhaar card
  • School / institution certificate
  • Bank passbook (single-name account)
  • Unmarried self-declaration

How to Apply

  • Collect form from your school / institution or download from Kanyashree portal.
  • Fill and submit the form to the head of institution.
  • Institution uploads and forwards the application to the Block/SDO.
  • Approved amount credited directly to bank account.
